“The COVID crisis, followed by the component supply crisis… BSE, which is approaching its 40th anniversary in three years, has rediscovered its smile. This was reflected in the smile of Agnès Pannier-Runacher on Monday afternoon as she toured the company located on Avenue de l’Europe in Le Creusot. Accompanied by Jérémy Decercle, she was first greeted by David Marti, the mayor of Le Creusot and President of the Urban Community, who extended a republican greeting in accordance with her ministerial rank.

Minister Pannier-Runacher, guided by Marc BALUSSAUD, President of BSE, and Sandrine LONAK, Sales and Marketing Director, toured the company along with Deputies Rémy Rebeyrotte and Louis Margueritte.

Minister Pannier-Runacher received excellent news during her visit: BSE has secured a significant contract with a company in the security sector. This substantial order is equivalent to approximately a year’s workload, or around 250,000 products. Currently employing 75 people, BSE plans to increase its workforce in the second half of the year.

Addressing the employees, Minister Pannier-Runacher gave a brief speech, asserting that “the electronics industry is strategic and essential.” She highlighted that the recovery plan has been elevated to the European level. “It’s important to understand that we must not always rely on distant countries,” she emphasized, pointing out the importance of national sovereignty. Minister Pannier-Runacher also encouraged the company and its employees to reach out to young people and convince them to work in the industry.”
